My Kid Wants to Play Eclipse: What do I do?

IMG_2514

Maybe you’re new to Eclipse… or new to club soccer… or new to this whole youth sports thing… regardless of your situation, we want to help make things as easy as possible for you!

What Should I Know?:

If you’re available to attend an Information Night, that’s a great opportunity to hear about Eclipse and ask any questions you may have. Information Night dates will be posted on our website each spring. Some key pages on our website to check out would be Competitive Teams if your player is U9 or older and wanting to play a full year with us, Future Eclipse if your player is U8 or younger and wanting to play a full year with us, Programs, Camps and Clinics if your player would like to check us out over a shorter period, and Our Mission and Philosophy.

How Do I Sign-Up?:

Our U9-U18 teams require players to attend tryouts and make a team. For the 2024-25 season, that means anyone born 2016 or earlier will need to attend tryouts. You can head over to our Tryouts page for more information and to register. U8 and younger players (2017 or later birth years for the 2024-25 season) participate in our Future Eclipse Program and can hold their spot for the season by filling out the form on that page. Our Winter Program, which runs December through February, is open to all players and does not require tryouts. Our Spring Program, which runs mid-March through mid-May, is open to all players and does not require tryouts. We also offer other clinics and camps throughout the year that do not require tryouts. Check our Programs, Camps and Clinics page regularly for any updates on those offerings.

How Do I Get Updates?:

By registering for tryouts or any of our programs, camps or clinics, we will add you to our email list for any updates regarding those events. We also are very active on Facebook and Instagram – @eastbayeclipse.

What If I Have Questions?:
