The Spring Program will run its traditional time period of mid-March (March 15) to early May (May 7). At this time we are anticipating we will be placing players into cohorts of 12 with an assigned coach for two practices per week. Social distancing guidelines will be in place, so training will be highly individual-based. Masks will be required for everyone. Players will be expected to bring their own balls with them to all training sessions. Since things tend to shift quickly with the pandemic and subsequent guidelines, as the start date of March 15 approaches, we will continue to keep those registered for the Spring Program updated of the full expectations that will be in place for the club, coaches, players, and parents at the Spring Program.
Because we plan to fully follow guidelines suggested by health officials, there will be a limited number of available spots for the 2021 Spring Program. To follow through on our commitment to those players who committed for the 2020 season, we are opening up registration now through February 10 to players in the 2006-2013 birth years who were committed to a 2020 roster spot ONLY. We encourage interested players to register asap, as spots may fill up prior to February 10.
Since there was no registration in 2020, ALL players must register for the 2021 Spring Program if they would like to participate. The Spring Program will be $325.
Due to CDPH and CIF guidelines not allowing for players to participate in club and high school sports concurrently, we do not anticipate holding a Spring Program for our high school players (including 2006 birth year freshmen). If any of our high school-aged players will NOT be participating in any high school sports and would like to participate in the Eclipse Spring Program, please email me directly to discuss.
In the event that we have spots open beyond the February 10 deadline, we will then open up those spots to our Future Eclipse-aged players (2014 and younger) and 2006-2013 players in the community new to Eclipse.
